Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026
The short version. KucLab runs no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising trackers and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
Most products work without an account and keep nothing about you. The one product that needs an account, Hertz, is zero-knowledge: we cannot read what you put in it. Drive is zero-knowledge too.
1. Who runs KucLab
KucLab is an independent project operated by Jaroslav Kučera. For privacy questions, the fastest channel is the support centre. You can also write to [email protected].
2. What this policy covers
Everything under kuclab.org: the front page, Hertz, AIPro, Prompter, Firums, the browser games (Adrenaline, Subway, Cap, Clux, MC, Planety, Gun, Ball Hunt, Nekonecny boj, Noir, Prehistorik, AI Battle) and the tools (15Mail, Drive, Jailbreak, Search, IP, NASA, Translator, QR, File). Models published on our Hugging Face page fall under Hugging Face's own policy once you leave our site.
3. Data we do not collect
- No analytics and no telemetry on any page. We do not count visitors, build profiles or run A/B tests.
- No advertising and no third-party advertising trackers.
- No sale or rental of personal data to anyone, ever.
4. What each product keeps
Hertz (account required)
Hertz needs an account because the models are served through our own API. We keep your account details so you can sign in, and your projects and memory so the workspace works between sessions. Conversations and stored content are zero-knowledge: the system is built so that we cannot read them. If you delete your account through the support centre, the account and its workspace data go with it.
Drive
Zero-knowledge cloud storage. Files you store are kept so you can retrieve them, and we cannot read their contents.
AIPro and Prompter
AIPro works with an API key you supply; Prompter improves the prompts you paste in. What you send is used to produce the result you asked for, nothing else.
Firums
Firums is anonymous discussion: no account, no name required. Posts are public by design, so do not post anything that identifies you or anyone else.
15Mail
Temporary mail. Messages vanish after fifteen minutes; the address itself stays so you can keep receiving mail.
Search
Anonymous search for films, series, people and documents. Queries are not stored.
IP, Translator, QR, File, NASA, Jailbreak
These tools process whatever you enter or upload only to show you the result: your address details, a translation, a code, a converted file, public space data. File can strip metadata from your files; that happens as part of the conversion you asked for.
Games
All games run in the browser with no download, no account and no tracking. If a game remembers your progress, it stores it in your own browser (local storage), not on our servers.
Support centre and email
When you contact us, we keep your message and address only as long as needed to answer and follow up.
5. Cookies and local storage
We set no third-party cookies. Your browser may hold first-party data that stays on your device or is needed for the service: your language choice on the front page, game progress, and the session that keeps you signed in to Hertz. Nothing in there is used for tracking.
6. Third parties
Pages load the Schibsted Grotesk font from Google Fonts, so Google's servers technically receive your request the same way any visited server does. Model training happens on Google Cloud infrastructure; that is where models are trained, not where this site is hosted. If you follow a link outside kuclab.org, such as Hugging Face, that site's policy applies.
7. Legal basis and your rights (GDPR)
Where we handle personal data, we do it to provide the service you asked for (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) or to keep the service secure and running (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent where consent applies. To exercise any of these, contact the support centre or [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.
8. Retention
We keep data only as long as its job requires: 15Mail messages for fifteen minutes, Hertz workspace data while your account exists, support messages until the matter is closed. Firums posts stay public until removed. Everything else on this page is processed in the moment and not stored.
9. Children
KucLab is not aimed at children under 16. If you are under 16, please use it with a parent or guardian.
10. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the new version appears on this page with a new date. Continued use after that point means you accept it.
